Mono- and bi-oriented pallet stretch hood covers manufactured in a wide variety of versions by different extrusion techniques and carefully monitored for consistent shrinkage performance on our fully computerized lines.
These tubular films used for the stability in transportation and protection of widely differing packaged commodities to protect them against dirt and moisture.
Packaging with stretch hood film does not require energy consumption for heating and therefore it minimizes the risk of fire or explosion. The film is therefore especially suited for packaging heat-sensitive products. Furthermore there is no lamination to the cargo.
A tube is formed that has a circumference much smaller than that of the pallet unit. This tube is then stretched by up to 150 %. In this way, a maximum transportation safety is achieved. In many cases this gives rise to a considerable saving in cost also.
